Obscura

Obscura is a band founded in 2002 by Stephen Kummerer, who plays Techno-Death/Progressive. The time to find musicians, their first album Retribution was released in 2006 in self-production. Very quickly then, the band gained enormous popularity in the metal sphere, allowing them to shoot with Suffocation in Europe, and then shoot in the lead. In 2007, it was no less than Hannes Grossman (former Necrophagist drummer ) Christian Muenzner (guitar/ Necrophagist ) and Jeroen Paul Theseseling (Pestilence bassist ) who joined the band. They then signed with Relapse and released Cosmogenesis in 2009. They toured in the United States with Cannibal Corpse or The Black Dahlia Murder. In 2011, Kummerer announced the release of a new album on Relapse called Omnivium . In 2012 Illegimition came out, then a long break was taken by the Germans. We must wait until 2016 to see them again with the release of Akróasis at Relapse Records.
