Originally from Portland (Maine), On The Outside, composed of Outbreak members, released its first demo five tracks in 2004. Very quickly the band followed the concerts, sharing the poster with Bane, With Honor or Colin of Arabia. On The Outside recorded his first album Tragic Endings in 2005.
