Biography
Created during a carte blanche at La Cave12 in Geneva, Switzerland and led by Vincent Bertholet (Contrebass), the Orchestre Tout Powerful Marcel Duchamp is one of these atypical groups mixing double bass, minimal electrified guitar, violinist singer and accessories, trombone, drums, all overhanged by marimba. The band released its first eponymous album in 2007 and then The Thing That Everything Else Is About in 2010 at Red Wig. Pop, Jazz, Afrobeat, Post-Punk, Rock are part of some of the qualifiers to describe their music. A third equally electrifying Rotorotor album was released in 2014.
