Otoboke Beaver

Otoboke Beaver formed in 2009 in Kyoto, Japan, the quartet has since been struggling to exhibit its overvitaminated Punk Garage Noise through notably a shovel of singles, two EPs and two albums grouping a large part of their individually produced songs: Okoshiyasu!! in 2016 bringing together all the tracks released between 2010 and 2015 and Itekoma Hits in 2019 for the following period. The ensemble is distributed by the English label Damnably but it is only in 2017 that Japanese women are noticed internationally, through their passages in the SXSW and Fuji Rock festivals. Note that the name of the group is a reference to a "love hotel" located in Osaka, near the former high school of one of its members.
