Biography

Dieghino - singing Giudi - bass Mics - drums Mizio - guitar Trave - guitar, singing
Ouzo , a melodic hardcore punk group, was born in 1998 in Perugia (Italy, Umbria); It is then a quartet formed by Trave (guitar, singing), Dieghino (guitar, singing), Giudi (bass) and Giacomo Carruba (drums). After a demo, the band recorded its first album, At Break Neck Speed , in 2001, at Hardrinkers Records. In 2003, Giacomo left the band, he was replaced by Paolo de Luca, and the following year Ouzo recorded his second album at the HDR Mobile Studio in Perugia. Support Your Local Hardcorers is released at Vacation House Records/Soul Craft Recordings, including a cover of "Yesterday" of the Beatles. The disc is well received by critics and the group seems determined to pass the speed higher. The years 2005-2006 see many changes within the formation: the excellent drummer Marco "Mics" takes place behind the futs and Dieghino abandons the guitar to Mizio to devote himself only to singing. As a quintet, Ouzo released his third album, Cliché Revolution in December 2006.
