Panic formed in 2001 following the merger of two bands during a concert at the Boston Mass Art. A demo was released quickly under the direction of Will Killingsworth (Orchid , Ampere ) at Dead Air Studios, followed by a seven-inch Dying For It with which the band embarked for a first East Coast/West Coast tour between 2001 and 2002. Panic recorded a second ep before separating in 2002.
In 2005 Reflections Records invited Panic members to meet temporarily for a concert at the Arnhem festival. The band then decided to try again by releasing a new skeud on the Dutch label in 2006.
