Biography

Current Line-up: Schultz: Sven Guitar: Guitar, Olivan Chorus: Bass, Xa
In a musical universe where rock only ridiculed the eyes of the general public with Phone, a whole bunch of bands raised to the punk consonances of the late 70s emerge. Among them, Les Rats , Ludwig Von 88 , the must-see Berurier Noir and thus Parabellum , will form in these musically sad 80s, which will be the Rock Alternative scene.
After bulging in various formations: GTI A name borrowed from a slogan written on a T-shirt from the Géant-Vert and Parabellum is on track. Cambouis later joined them behind the drums, and the first "serious" recordings began. In the sandstone of the unavailability and moods of each, new members play the interims in concert or in rehearsal, among them Riton (future Boys Bouchers) or Jean-Luc des GTIs. It was early 1985 that the group took off with the release of its first EP at Gougnaf: We're ruled by fools. In the following months are written and composed some classics of the band such as "Ilot d'Amsterdam", "Cayenne" or "L
First TV and new line-up – Patrick ( DKP , Desperados ) replaces Cambouis – for 1986 and new maxi at Madrigal in 1987. Four boys in the fog and his cover made in Vuillemin is the first success of the band, which will start a long series of concerts, including a spring of Bourges with the Black Berurier. Unfortunately as the machine is launched, Giant Green throws sponge. Sentenced to write its own texts the formation was not left behind and laid two small jewels from the following year with the famous "Anarchy in Chiraquia" and the dejanté "Saturnin". It will take until 1990 to see the training go back to the studio, this time the texts are done in collaboration with Kick (Stychnine). The album Parabellum was released the same year at Just-in (which was later bought by Fnac-Music), but because of a gross press – and a withdrawal of the voice on the cake – the reception reserved for him is more than mixed. That, despite a non-existent promo, the combo is reviving thanks to what he knows best: concerts. The following year, the band did everything to leave the major and won by the end of 1991. However, despite new recordings in a funny atmosphere, and a new overseas tour, the band decides to separate and gives an intense farewell concert to the electric fowl of Montreal, it is June 17, 1991.
For 5 years each plays on its side: Sven in Gas Gas Gas, Patrick and Shultz in Tontons Flingers, Roland with Rats. And it was in 1997 that the small troupe reappeared, with a tour and live recorded from the first concert in Marmande: the Post-Mortem live. The next ten years were the theatre of release with an unimaginable regularity ten years earlier: Bordel Inside in 1999, Bunker in 2002, Panem, Circenses and Rock'n'roll in 2005, and Si Vis Pacem in 2007. Meanwhile, Olivier will replace Roland at bass (1998), the texts will be written with Piero Sapu (BB docs ), Sai Sai , Svinkels or Reuno (Lofofora ) and following the death of Z – replacing Patrick – Xa
