Biography

The story of Parade Ground began in 1983 when Pierre and Jean-Marc Pauly decided to materialize their musical inhibitions. Their efforts were identified by Patrick Codenys and Daniel Bressanutti (Front 242 ) who produced the first ep in 1983 at New Dance. This is the beginning of a long-term collaboration. In February 1984 the duo released a new ep entitled Man in a Trance , more focused post punk followed by Moral Support/Took Advantage with Flo Sullivan . It was not until 1988 that Parade Ground finally released its first album Cut Up. But the band entered the stand by shortly afterwards. The Pauly brothers will still find time to realize their proximity to Front 242 by participating in both albums 06:21:03:11 Up Evil and 05:22:09:12 Off . The duo resurfaced in 2004 at the 3rd Belgian Independent Music Festival.
