Park

Justin Valenti (guitar) and Ladd Mitchell (chant/guitar) met in high school while playing in 2 different groups. In a concert that is common to both bands, Ladd wants to join Justin's band as second guitarist. After 3 years and a few concerts, the other two members of the band break to pursue different projects, leading to the split of the band... However, 6 months later, a first-time pain in the ass named Miles Logan (battery) keeps harassing Ladd for a Jam session. After several refusals, Ladd accepts and also invites one of his friends Timmy Costello (bass), from The Timmy's for a jam. Later that evening, Ladd reminded his friend Justin of whether he wanted to reform Park with Miles and Timmy, he accepted and the four boys repeated until April 2000, when Park auditioned for Lobster Records, which had been interested in the band for quite a while. This is the quartet from Sprinfield's working class, Illinois signed on the Santa Barbara label! Things accelerated at the end of 2003 with the release of It Won't Snow Where You're Going , their second album that doesn't go unnoticed by emo fans, without the band becoming a leading band on stage...
