Parween
Biography
Formed in 2004, Parween is now an integral part of the Parisian rock/noise scene. Originally from Paris and its suburbs, the members of Parween recorded in December 2005 a first eponymous album, distributed by Musicast. New perspectives appear with the texts of Mickaël Marchal, it becomes essential for the band to think the album and the music as a whole. This is how the second album, Crusader Geography, will be very influenced by artists land art. The album will be released in February 2007. After the guitarist left, Yann Daniel, Comity guitarist, joined Parween. More rock sounds and choruses add to the song. After first-time performances with bands like Gallows , Made Out Of Babies or The Death Set , Parween is signed on the Kapriel Records label. It was in 2009 that they recorded their third album, Treaty for a New Belief of the Event. An album where Parween makes the choice of a federative music, between sect and sea bass, between divination and eructation. With the arrival of his new drummer Joseph Delaware, the quartet specifies its rock/noise orientation with the release of an album in June 2013, Point . Always anxious to associate music and text, this time the band is working on old age. The record is co-produced by the labels Vox and En v'en v'à, the new album promises to be a noiseist, where music installs a degenerative mood.
