It all started after Mother Love Bone split , Stone Gossard , Jeff Ament Mike McCready, Dave Krusen reform a band, with a new singer Eddie Vedder, who will this time be called Pearl Jam (in reference to Eddie Vedder's grandmother). It's 1990. Their first album will be released the following year. Thanks to the wave ‘grunge' ( Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgargen, Nirvana, Alice in Chains ...) Pearl Jam becomes known, the albums will chain Vitalogy, Mirror Ball, Yield, ... Pearl Jam will then stand out from the Grunge scene, and will even find its place as a mythical rock band at the international level! Magic works, and Pearl Jam concocts us albums after album of little jewels all as amazing as each other. It should be noted that Pearl Jam is known for its categorical rejection of the record industry since they will not make any clips for the singles of the second album Vs in 1993. They will even cancel certain dates of their tours because the band categorically refuses to sell tickets over twenty dollars.
