Biography

Periphery is first and foremost the project of one man. Misha Mansoor, a real creative genius, is called Bulb on the internet and posts different models of his music on the Soundclick community music site as well as on Meshuggah and John Pettrucci forums. Misha then produced music close to Meshuggah's style with a more pronounced melodic side (Dream Theater being one of the main influences of the musician). To the threads of songs, tests, and experiments posted as free download, Periphery has created a small reputation in the world of modern Metal, and all without any advertising or promotion. In 2010 released their first album eponyme. Waited at the turn and acclaimed by fans, the album offers an interesting synthesis of Mathcore, Metal Progressive and Metalcore. Precursors of the musical style said Djent, the band, in one album, succeeded in forming a community of fans constantly growing. The group is built as time and records build a solid reputation in the progressive world. At such a point that when Periphery II: This Time It's Personal arrived two years later, he included a solo by John Petrucci (Dream Theater). Then the combo starts in the Clear experience, a sort of EP 7 titles (the intro theme is composed of six, then each member proposes a title that must necessarily make an allusion to this prelude). Early 2015, released an ambitious concept in two albums, on which Misha Mansoor had been hovering for years: Juggernaut . A year and a half later, once this parenthesis was closed, the fourth LP studio took over where the band had stopped. Periphery III: Select Difficulty is announced for summer 2016. Line Up : Alex Bois - Guitare Jake Bowen - Guitare, Programming Matt Halpern - Battery, Percussions Misha "Bulb" Mansoor - Guitare, Programming, Producer Spencer Sotelo - Song Tom Murphy - Bass
