Perturbator
Biography
Disturbator, by his real name James Kent, is a young Parisian musician who rides his boss in several metal bands including I, The Omniscient. Quickly, he was eager to create electronic music inspired by the original 80's film tapes and the entire decade. Drawing on his influences both in the metal world and in Carpenter Brut , Kavinsky , Vangelis or Tangerine Dream , his first album was released in 2012. Terror 404 is self-produced but it allows the musician to be identified by criticism. I Am The Night released the same year, once again only in digital version but his participation in the soundtrack of Hotline Miami, which also released in 2012, marks a turning point in his career. Signed at Blood Music, he released in 2014 Dangerous Days, which is a critical and public success. A winner in fame, Disturbator occupies a more important place in the movement now called Synthwave alongside his compatriot Carpenter Brut. In February 2016, the release of The Uncanny Valley was announced once again at Blood Music.
