Biography
Founded in 2004 in the city of Norrköping in Sweden by Gustav Almberg (Guitare - The Great Discord ), Mattias Bhatt (Guitare), Martin Hjertstedt (Batterie) and Kristian Karlsson (Basse / Chant - Cult Of Luna ), Pg.Lost is a post-rock quartet in the line of Americans Explosions In The Sky or Irish of God Is An Astronaut . The beautiful part is given to reverberations and explosive climaxes. The band released its first eponymous album in 2005, but it was mainly with the second Yes I Am in 2007 and then their first long format effort, It's Not Me, It's You! that Pg.Lost, through a classic Post-Rock, but sometimes energetic and notably a signature at Black Star Foundation, which they made known. In Never Out was released in 2009 as well as Key (mixed by Cult Of Luna's Magnus Lindberg) in 2012 while a split with Wang Wen also appeared the same year. They have since toured in China, but also in Korea and Malaysia, but also in support of trainings like Khoma, Mono and Efterklang. The Swedish are discreet for a few years before returning with Versus in 2016 and a signature at Pelagic Records. Taking more time, it was in 2020 that Oscillate appeared on the same label.
