Phantom Winter

Spring 2014 Andreas Schmittfull, guitarist of Omega Massif, presents Christof Rath, the drummer of the formation, the model of a first song he composed for a personal project. A week later, on May 30, 2014, Omega Massif separated. Phantom Winter, which was until then, only a side-project becomes the main group of Andreas and Christof. Joined by Martin Achter (bass) and Christian Krank (chant), they quickly recorded a first album. CVLT was released in 2015 and was followed the following year by Sundown Pleasures . In 2017 a second guitarist, Florian Brunhuber, joined Phantom Winter. Shortly after Andrea Schmittfull, who composes all the instrumental parts and writes all the lyrics, starts working on a third album. Into Dark Science was released in the spring of 2018 at Golden Antenna Records, the historic label of German training. Phantom Winter offers very dark music, mixing Black, Sludge and Doom.
