Biography

Phazm is an atypical group that mixes Death/Black and Blues/Rock. To imagine the thing think of a crossing between Morbid Angel and Motörhead . This amazing mix was born at the end of 2003 under the impulse of Pierrick Valencia ( Scarve ), who holds the guitar and sings, and guitarist Patrick Martin ( Scarve ). They were joined shortly afterwards by drummer Dirk Verbeuren ( Scarve , Soilwork ), and bassist Max Nomine. Very soon Phazm released Hate At First Seed under the direction of Jacob Hansen (Hateshere , Aborted ...). In 2005 Cedric Lickel ( Solekahn ) replaced Dirk Verbeuren who left the band to focus on Scarve and Soilwork . Antebellum Death'n Roll landed the following year and still gives as much in the Death'n Roll spirit with necrophilic tendency. After the closure of the album Patrick Martin left the band and was replaced by Victorien Vilchez (Yykroon ). In 2008 released the third studio album of the French, Cornerstone Of The Macabre , shortly after the band split. This split will fortunately be only temporary, in 2012 Phazm returns on stage to share the poster with Entombed , this concert announced as unique gives ideas to the players. A little later in the year the reformation is official, Phazm multiplies the dates and announces in 2015 that a new album is in preparation, its release is expected in 2016.
