Biography
Steve Burda - guitar, singing Shane McLachlan - singing Leon Del Muerte - bass, singing Danny Walker - drums
Formed in Orange County in 1990, Phobia has been carrying out its assaults for just over a decade. During all these years the band played with the greatest, Chaos UK, Napalm Death, Detestation, Neurosis, Corrupted, Assuck and I pass. Phobia released her first demo shortly after her training. It is followed by the first Seven All that Remains which is born at Relapse. The local scenes of Los Angeles and Orange County are then devastated with the help of Mindrot, Morgion, Dystopia, Fear Factory or Excruciating Terror. 1994 sees the release of Return to Desolation after which is organized a West Coast tour with Capitalist Casualties. But it was on the occasion of the release of the first album, Means of Existence in 1998 that Phobia embarked on her first American tour. Phobia crossed the Atlantic during the release of the split with Corrupted and the seven Destroying the Masses in 1999. In total, more than fifty shows across Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Belgium, the Netherlands, England among others. A year later it was a trip to Japan with Corrupted followed in 2001 by a trip to Mexico with Anarchus. Still on the breach after all these years, Phobia still doesn't sleep. Her new album 22 Random Acts of Violence was released in 2008.
