Pig Destroyer
Biography
Pig Destroyer , translate "Copper Killer", is an American Grindcore trio formed in 1997 by J.R. Hayes (Enemy Soil ), Scott Hull (Agoraphobic Nosebleed , Anal Burn , Japanese Torture Comedy Hour ) and John Evans. The latter will soon be replaced by Brian Harvey on the battery. Later Blake Harrison brings some digital elements based on samples. The trio began at Relapse Records with a split alongside Isis and then continued records pushing the boundaries of the genre ever further, with the album Terrifyer in 2004 as a star. Pig Destroyer's particularity is not to incorporate bass but it does not inhibit the impact of their overwhelming and nihilistic mix between Hardcore, Grind and Metal.
