Biography

Pink Razors formed in Richmond in 2004 under the leadership of Jeff, who played until then solo. Having the fever of writing he decides to form a band with his roommate Justin in order to put his lyrics into music. In order to complete the line-up the duo returns to the stage Adam, drummer in hiatus for a few years because of his studies, then recruit Mike to the position of second guitarist.

A first album released in 2005 on the label of a friend, Robotic Empire, followed by several tours (one with Avail ) shared between "house shows" and larger scenes, the band ultimately choosing to concentrate on small concerts or combo music is more popular. A second album was released in 2006, still by Robotic Empire, and a 7'' in 2007 by Rorschach Records. That same year Mike decided to leave Richmond and thus the band, replaced by Erin, singer in a Michigan band named Abe Froman.

This resulted in a period of voluntary composition focused on the writing of new songs that were less rapid and more varied, released in 2008 on the album Leave Alive , edited by Houseplant Records and re-edited by No Idea in 2009.
