Biography

Conor Mead : Song, Piano Justin Shannon : Guitar, Song Alex Kushe : Bass Cory Stier : Battery
Conor Meads belongs to this category of decided, revolted beings who refuse to let time pass passively as in Virginia Woolf's novels. One of those beings whose internal bubbling always pushes to action. At the age of 18, he left the family home to try his luck in the city (San Diego), found a job (he wrote jingles for TV) and squashed the attic of a recording studio to compose his music. He, who took care of the piano and singing, then enlisted Cory Stier (battery) his childhood friend as well as Justin Shannon (guitar) and Alex Kushe (bass) met in high school and persuaded them to form a band. They chose a name, peeked in the middle of one of their song ("Bang Bang") and then worked to set up a set of titles. Influenced by Fugazi , At The Drive-In or Hot Water Music , fans of The Get Up Kids and Thursday , Pistolita explores various musical tracks, in a mix of evolutionary indie rock and iconoclast emo. The band joined Montalban Hotel Records, with which he recorded his first album Oliver Under The Moon in 2006. Since then, the combo has not been left behind with an appearance at the Warped Tour and tours with Say Anything and The Bled.
