Biography

Polkadot Cadaver (literally the pea body) is an American fusion band formed in 2007 after the separation of another fusion group, the Dog Fashion Disco, of which he now remains the singer (Todd Smith), the guitarist (Jason Stepp) and the drummer (John Ensminger). Their first album, Purgatory Dance Party , was released in 2007 and is very well received by the critics and fans of Dog Fashion Disco who see in this new band a kind of continuity: musically very close, Polkadot Cadaver takes on quite often the biggest tubes of Dog Fashion Disco live. Stylistically close to bands like System Of A down, but especially Faith No More and Cardiacs, the band stands out from Dog Fasion Disco by a more hard work in studio where they focus on writing, leaving a little more the endless tours they used to set up and who had made them known. The band released its second album Sex Offender in 2011, going to look for bassist David Cullen of the band Knives Out! for the occasion, and set out on tour, making the first parts of Korpiklaani or Wayne Static.
