Biography
Chris Hannah and Jord Samolesky first sought not to create a punk-rock group, but progessive thrash (since 1986) in the vicinity of Winnipeg. They enlist Little John John as a bassist and begin to make a name for themselves in the Canadian scene, opening for example in '91 for Fugazi and '92 for NOFX .
Then two years later, having abandoned the progressive crash, Fat Mike (NOFX ) offered them to record an EP and then an album, the famous How To Clean Everything . Then they tour in Europe, the United States, Japan ... It is then the great exploding of punk. They released Less Talk, More Rock in '96. After that the band no longer becomes very active musically, they separate from John K. Samson (who will found in the footsteps of The Weakerthans), and the remaining two members create the activist label G7 Welcoming Committee. Label that distributes Propaghandi's albums to their home country, Canada, to sign a few bands they love and especially to be present in the world of activists. In '98 Where Quantity Is Job N°1 (albums of rarity, B faces etc) released on G7 and at the end of 2000 they found inspiration, a new bassist (Todd Kowalski, ex-I Spy and Swallowing Shit) and returned to the studio, they came out with Today's Empire, Tomorrow's Ashes.
After a few tours and anicroches with Fat Mike (especially about the 2004 US presidential campaign), they released in October 2005 Potemkin City Limits . In August '06, a second guitarist, David Guillas, allowed the training to go on a quartet and prepare new tours.
