Providence (or xProvidencex at the beginning) is a hardcore band founded in Paris in 2005. It is born from the will of its members to produce dark, aggressive music that makes the part of the down-tempo break. As it should be, they soon followed the concerts in France and Europe, especially with a few heavyweights such as Shattered Realm , Madball , Terror , Born From Pain ,... However, having still recorded only one title in the form of a demo ("Turn the Tide"), their reputation gradually grew in the early years.
Following the inevitable changes in line-up, the group eventually stabilized and signed a contract with the London label Rucktion Records ( Knuckledust, TRC, Wisdom In Chains, Six Ft Ditch,...) in early 2008. In September, they entered the Ste Martha studio in Paris to record their first MCD, Far Beyond Our Dept. It was released at the end of January 2009.
