Project started in March 2001 in Albany, New York State, Public Access is formed by 5 high school students in aggressive ska music. First concert in their high school, then a few weekend music parties, and finally a first DIY EP in 2003: Please Think Money that sees a first drummer change. The band crossed the road of sizes such as Murphys Law , Leftöver Crack , Voodoo Glow Skulls , The Slackers , Mike Park , Gogol Bordello , Street Dogs or Streetlight Manifesto during a tour in the Midwest in 2004, then on the East Coast in '05, to promote their second EP, Fleeced (published on the division label of the Zine Pocketful of Change).
The rhythm section is changing again, the progress of Public Access is slowed, but with its 200 past concerts, the troupe resumes the road at the end of 2006 and in '07. They then meet Greg Community Records, who is setting up his small ska and derivatives label. He offers them to release their next EP, which will prove to be the last. On 12 April '08 in Connecticut, they deliver their last performance, along with EP Hindsight. It is available for free download, with the possibility of donation or physical purchase...
