Publicist UK is the story of a band today making music yesterday. Formed around musicians from the Metal scene like Dave Witte of Municipal Waste or Brett Bamberger of Revocation (David Obuchowski and Zachary Lipez completes the line-up), the quartet plays a Post-Punk directly influenced by the greatest names of the 80s such as Joy Division, The Cure, Sisters Of Mercy. Much more than just a tribute Publicist UK gives life to its music by incorporating some metal sounds into the Cold Wave legacy for a result that materializes in 2015 with the release of their first album: Forgive Yourself. The nice little anecdote about the band: from the band's formation to the signature at Relapse Records all went online, the members only met to rehearse together three days before their first concert.
