Putrid Offal

Formed in 1990 in the Valenciennes region (Nord Pas de Calais) Putrid Offal is a pioneer in the Death / Grind category in France. After releasing a first demo in 1991, Unformed, the band will appear on two splits: one with the monsters of the Belgian Grind Agathocles (At the Sight of the Foul Offal... / Untitled) and the other with the Swiss Exulceration (Infernal Disgust / Premature Necropsy). The two achievements will be published in 1991. The French will also be on the compilation Obscurum Per Obscurius in 1992. Despite a new demo in 1994, Putrid Offal will disappear in 1995 before making a most unexpected comeback in 2014, with a new member, Phil Reinhalter of Alpha Division. 2015 marks the release of a double album regrouping all the recordings of the band: Mature Necropsy , whose first record contains completely re-recorded tracks. Shortly after the release of this compilation, the formation was joined by Dehuman's Laye to the battery. With this line-up, PO is preparing to participate in the 2015 editions of the Obscene Extreme, the Fall of Summer and the Loches en Grind.
