Biography
Rachel's is initially the project of a man, Jason Noble, quickly joined by violinist Christian Frederickson and pianist Rachel Grimes. With classical training and music inspired by Michael Nyman , Rachel's released her first album, Handwriting , in 1995. On this one, as on all the other releases of the trio, the band surrounds itself with a group of musicians to accompany them to guitars, basses, pianos or percussions.
After 4 other albums and a last EP, Technology Is Killing Music (2005), the band went into hiatus without news of reformation or tour. Note that Rachel Grimes released a solo album in 2009.
