Radius System

Sometimes some individuals come together at home and create, by taking a few cables and ropes, small unpretentious jewellery, but from the most enjoyable to the hearing canals. Radius System is one of those, and when Axel (bass and singing) and Grégory (drums, guitar, programming and keyboard) are leading, as early as 2001, to (re)produce the music they love, and the result is more than convincing. Trip Hop, metal, electro, rock and industrial cross and look for each other in a multitude of titles as attractive as each other. And after two demos 13 home-made tracks, Influence (2002) and Changes (2004), the band closed the first chapter of its career in 2005 with the release of its first album, Work In Progress, which will finally find its place in the bins in January 2007, thanks to the support of Several Bleeds Records (Every Reason To , Art Of Falling ...) and Season of Mist . In parallel to this, the members of the group devote themselves to other projects (Time To Burn , Notion Aura ), the latter enriching themselves Radius System . A succession of events that will allow RS to secure the first parts of Hell Is For Heroes and Jeniferever. The Parisian combo will eventually release its second and very nice effort, Escape / Restart , in May 2008 after three years of work and questioning... before finally throwing the sponge the same year. Escape / Restart comes out on the LostChild label for free download and allows the combo to have many positive feedback on this second opus. Almost Nothing , EP composed of unedits, covers and remixes, comes out the same year, then the band disappears again from the musical landscape, letting the suspense hover on a 3rd opus. However, it is not until 2010 that Radius System , then composed solely by Gregory Hoepffner, will show the prospect of a third album.
