Biography

Created in the early 1990s, Rammstein is certainly the best-known European metal band in the world, a feat for those Germans who, although singing in their native language, have been able to make their place overseas. David Lynch, still fond of strange music, contributed to making them known by incorporating two tracks from their first album Herzeleid, Rammstein and Heirate Mich, to the BO of his film Lost Highway. Present during the first Family Values, they managed to impose their second album Sehnsucht, released in 1997 , in German while an English version was also available. The title Du Hast on Matrix's BO has further increased their popularity. This band playing with fire, both on stage and in his lyrics, often provocative, but also imprinted with a very personal poetry, is still platinum record in his country of origin (we are not ready to see Lofofora sell as many albums in France!...). In 2001, the band's third album, Mutter , more atmospheric, was marked by the quality of its compositions, notably Sonne or Mein Herz Brennt . The band continued its journey in 2004 with the album Reise Reise , carried by its single America . A new album, resulting from the recording sessions of this album, was released in 2005, and will be titled Rosen Rot. After a DVD, Volkerball, with their passage to the reins of Nîmes, the band returned in 2009 with Liebe ist für alle da , their single Pussy and his clip forbidden to - 18 years old broadcast on the web makes much talk about him.
