After the split of Bluetip, Jason Farrell does not stay without activity for long. He joined forces with Joe Gorelick ( Garden Variety ) and Jim Kimball (J. Majesty ) to found Retisonic trio today New York, which released his first ep Lean Beat in 2003. Produced by J. Robbins ( Jimmy Eat World , Jets To Brazil ) it gets the favors of Kerrang, NME or Alternative Press. The band then toured Europe and the states with Nada Surf, Fugazi and Jets To Brazil. Towards the end of 2003, Retisonic entered the studio alongside Ian Love (Rival Schools) to record his first album, Return to Me , which was released by Silverthree Recordings in 2004. After several years of hiatus, an ephemeral reformation of Bluetip with a move to New York, Farrell reactivates Retisonic and releases a new album entitled Robots Fucking .
