Biography
In early 2008, After Forever paused. The singer Floor Jansen takes the opportunity to prepare other projects, and when the band announces in 2009 that it splits, it only takes a few weeks to the beauty to announce that she formed ReVamp . In 2009, she wrote the entire first album, soberly titled ReVamp . To finalize the composition and to record, it surrounds Joost Van Den Broek (claviers, ex After Forever) and Waldemar Sorychta (guitar, Grip Inc.). The album was released by Nuclear Blast in 2010. Floor Jansen then recruited five new members to tour, without Van Den Broek and Sorychta. After a short break due to the singer's health and her recruitment to Nightwish at the end of 2012, ReVamp began writing again in early 2013. Wild Card released in August of that year. In October 2013, Floor Jansen moved from acting replacement to official singer at Nightwish. This will prevent him from fully devoting himself to ReVamp , which goes into hiatus for an indefinite period after an American tour with Iced Earth , early 2014.
