RQTN, a young project led by the no less young Mathieu Artu, produces music that is easily linked to the Post Rock movement. RQTN delivers a sad Post Rock time, coupled with dark imagery inspired by the mid-century wars. It was on a very nice first EP in the name of We Were... We Are released in May 2008 at Swarm Of Nails Records that this side of RQTN was noticed. As a result, Mathieu released a second eponymous EP, distributed free of charge and in a completely digital way. A first real album corresponding to a musical reorientation and responding to the name of Monolithes en Mouvement then arrives in 2009, and sounds the charge towards a new stylistic orientation. A little less than a year later, inexhaustible, Mathieu Artu announced the release of Decades and Decisions , his second album that brought his project on more New Wave grounds.
