Sabaton

Sabaton

Country: Sweden
Formed: 1999
Styles: Power Metal

Biography

On the eve of the year 2000, Sabaton was born in the cold Swedish countries with the aim of paying tribute to the bravery of soldiers in armed conflicts around the world. The simple and efficient concept develops in a Power Metal with epic accents. Renowned for their live performances, the quintet has now become an essential group, awarded many times by Metal Hammer. After many changes of line-up there is only Joakim Brodén (chant) and Pär Sundström (bass) of the original members, but the spirit and good mood proper to Sabaton's identity remains unchanged.
