Savage Circus
Biography
Savage Circus is a German-Swedish Power Metal band founded in 2004 by drummer Thomen Stauch, disappointed by the musical evolution of Blind Guardian which he will leave the same year. He is joined by guitarist Piet Sielck ( Iron Savior ), then by Jens Carlsson (song) and Emil Norberg (guitare), both of the band Persuader . A first album, Dreamland Manor , appeared in 2005. Two years later, Thomen Stauch left the band for health reasons and was replaced by Mike Terrana (ex-Rage). It was under this configuration, supplemented by bassist Yenz Leonhardt, that Of Doom And Death was released in 2009. Thomen Stauch returned in 2012, but the line-up was completely redesigned with the departure of Sielck in 2011 and Carlsson and Norberg in early 2014, all three preferring to devote themselves to their respective bands. Although a new album was announced in 2013, it is not yet known whether it will really be released, or whether Savage Circus still exists, since no information has been given since 2014.
