Biography

In '96, the Belgians of Scarrots began to compose punk rock and ska music. They are soon noticed by the Belgian press and public who love them for their energy and good mood. In their country they are very often in the final phase of rock springboards and this gives them a good reputation and a good place in the national scene. Besides that, they play about thirty concerts a year (especially with Reel Big Fish, Undeclinable, Snuff, I Against I, De Heideroosjes ...), compose and record from time to time songs for compils while waiting to have enough to release an album! This was done in 2002 with this Peace of Sunshine released on Good Life Recordings, a label with which the Scarrots signed a contract in early 2002.
Then it is the crossing of the desert; the respective jobs of the members take time and leave little room for the group that makes some appearances on concerts and festivals in Belgium. Summer 2006, they put a new song on their Myspace page, re-create their site, and sign at Funtime Records that released their second opus The Sound Of being Lost on March 16, 2007.
