Scars Of Chaos
Biography
Daemonic Alchemy , a group from western France, was born in 1997. Originally an extreme metal project, the combo quickly expanded its line up, giving it a clear musical direction: the symphonic black metal. After several demos and a contract flop, the group was forced to stop its activity in 2004. It was only in the fall of the same year that the American label Forever Underground contacted the monsters to help them. Thus, from the ashes of Daemonic Alchemy the band Scars Of Chaos , identical to a guitarist close to the first project, who thus managed to advance a career already well sketched before by releasing the ingeniously titled album Daemonic Alchemy (see a poignant tribute) in 2005. The influences present on this disc are clearly identifiable: this symphonic violence can easily resemble Anorexia Nervosa or Emperor, but no matter when the music is good.
