Seahaven
Biography
In 2009, James Phillip (ex-Film Fighter) gathered around him the young (20 years of average age) Kyle Chadwick, Eric Findlay and Michael Craver to form a group with indie sensitivity. On May 25, 2010, the Torrance quartet (South California) released their first EP Ghost on Creator Destructor ( Heartsounds , Anchors , The Stereo State ...). Jordan Brown ( Set Your Goals) will feature. At the end of the summer they tour with Heart to Heart and Second to Last before recording some tracks for a self-produced acoustic EP. Acoustic Sessions is coming out in early December. James Phillip left the band, replaced by Mike DeBartolo on bass. In early 2011, Run For Cover announced the signature of the combo with a vinyl edition of Ghost . In March they joined Daytrader and This Time Next Year on the US roads, before getting on with the composition of a first album. They repeat it on the roads in July with Mixtapes and record it in August. Things are accelerating as Seahaven suddenly announces the new album Winter Forever (November 08) and a tour alongside Touché Amoré and Pianos Come the Teeth for the last two months of the year.
