Second Rate
Biography
The Bisontins began their career as Unduly in 1997. After a few recordings and many concerts, the band's last demo at the end of 98 almost coincides with the first recordings of Second Rate that come out on their label: Vampire Records. After 2 K7s demos and a 45t split with Brainwash that make great noise in the world of fanzines, magazines, radios... the band is going to the serious things in March 2000: this is the release of the first 6 tracks Nice Line Life on Prehisto Rec. ! Second R8 suddenly becomes a confirmed hope of the emopopcore scene that they share notably with their buddies of Dead Pop Club. The chronicles and recognitions continue to rain until the release in February 2001 of this much-anticipated Grinding to last... recorded at Studio Pôle Nord with Fred Gramage. Since then, even more recognition, especially on the part of the public who discovers at each second R8 concert a real talent! The 4 happy lurons also participated in compils and samplers such as Emo*Glam*Connection which brought together the "gratin" of French punk/ermo, sampler Rock Sound... or the split with Scuttle (UK) at the beginning of this year 2002...
