Biography

Originally a member of Sounds Like Life, John Vesely left the training in 2004 to embark on a solo project - Secondhand Serenade – based on mostly acoustic compositions (guitar, piano). With limited means, he rents a studio 8 days and composes the ten titles of Awake which he will make known by myspace and pure volume. Quickly, the buzz takes and Secondhand Serenade enters into the "Top Unsigned Artists" and the "Top 100 d Feeling the juicy case in perspective, Glassnote Records signs the young artist and album released in February 2007, coming directly into the 16th place of the "Billboard's Top Heatseekers Cart" A real sensation of the indie/emo environment, in the wake of Dashboard Confessional, Secondhand Serenade released his much-anticipated second opus A Twist In My Story on February 5, 2008. Note at the production, two heavyweights of the record industry, accustomed to commercial successes: Danny Lohner ( Nine Inch Nails , Angels & Airwaves ) and Butch Walker ( Fall Out Boy , All American Rejects ).
