Seekers Of The Truth

Built on the ashes of Shit Happens , hardcore band that will release two demos as well as a 45 laps from 1988 to 1993, the Seekers Of The Truth adventure really took shape in 1996 when signing on the label Lost & Found ( Ignite , Discipline , Uniform Choice etc.). A first album entitled Out of Ignorance was released the same year. 1997 is a busy year. The band recorded an ep, Transcendence, which will be followed by a split alongside Tribal Zone and an appearance on the compilation of the late Overcome, The Nightmare Remains...in this Other Land. Until 1998 Seekers Of The Truth will cumulate European scenes, performing alongside confirmed formations such as Shelter , Agnostic Front , Right For Life , Backfire or Snappase before setting up stand by.
The break will last seven years. The band was re-established in 2005 around Sylvain and Xav, the only survivors of the first mill to which JP joined (ex MST , Madhouse , Seekers Of The Truth ), Djé ( No Guts No Glory ), Loïc (ex- Straight Forward ). In 2006 the Toulouse label Eternalis Records ( Revive , Get Lost , Fire At Will ) offered Seekers Of The Truth the opportunity to participate in a compilation followed by a 7-inch title Tinman , a prelude to an album that was only released in 2009.
