Tom Berg (Basse, Chant) Conrad Mach (Guitare, Chant) Ben Johnston (Battery) It was in Minneapolis that Self-Evident formed in 1997 with Tom Berg, Conrad Mach and Brian Heitzman (now replaced by Ben Johnston). From the start, the trio blurs the tracks with a faceted indie rock. punk, jazz, post-rock or math-rock are all musical currents that Self-Evident manages to integrate into immediately catchy and dense songs. With more than 700 concerts with Oxes , Don Caballero or Chokebore , Self-Evident has the hard skin and released in 2012 an umpteenth album, We Build A Fortress On Short Notice , which marks their 15th year of activity.
