Biography

Senser is a relatively unknown London fusion group, which, like a Rage Against the Machine, appeared in the 90s, a fertile period that saw the birth of many formations evading into fusion. Finally far enough from a RATM because of its much more diverse musical influences (electro, hip hop, techno, metal, ...), the band will release only one successful album, their first effort "Stacked Up" which is still an undisputed reference in terms of genre mix. Following artistic differences, the band will split after the release of the first album, the main singer (Heitham Al-Sayed), the drummer (John Morgan) and the manager boxing rhythm (Haggis) going on to form another band, Lodestar, the rest of the band will continue to release another album "Asylum" where only singer Kersten Haigh was an officer on the song. Much more electro, the album yet very good fails to convince, the band separates in the most complete anonymity, and returns, always in the most complete anonymity and decides on the occasion of a reformation for a concert, to release their third album SCHEMAtic , sort of direct suite of Stacked Up , good synthesis of the two albums little mediated... In 2009, the band in Al-Sayed came back in strength, nostalgic of that time when everything was allowed and came out How to do battle, still so marked by this elusive passion and rage, characteristic of this cult group that does not seem to have taken a wrinkle. The group has always been fond of a very committed political discourse, so we find on most of their albums this willingness to denounce and oppose governments, and to address certain sensitive issues such as racism or the consumer society. A new album is planned for 2013... Line up : Heitham Al-Sayed : Singing (1992 to 1995, then since 1999) James Barret : Bass Andy "Awe" Clinton : Samples Haggis : Rhythm box (1992 to 1995, then since 1999) Kersten Haigh : Sing, flute Nick Michaelson : Guitar John Morgan : Battery (1992 to 1995, then since 1999) Paul Soden: Battery (1995-1999)
