Serenity was created in 2001 by Austrians Mario Hirzinger (claviers), Andreas Schipflinger (battery), and three other musicians who left the band before the first album. They will all be replaced in 2004 by Georg Neuhauser (song), Thomas Buchberger (guitars), and Simon Holzknecht (bass). After two demos, the quintet released Words Untold&Dreams Unlived in 2007, then Fallen Sanctuary in 2008. Italian guitarist Fabio D The founding member Mario Hirzinger puts the key under the door at the end of 2012, after eleven years of good and loyal services. Serenity does not replace its keyboardist, but remains a quintet with the integration of a singer, in addition to the vocalist already in office, like Lacuna Coil or Visions Of Atlantis. It is a singer, it is the French Clementine Delauney (ex Whyzdom, and future Visions Of Atlantis, precisely). But she will only stay with the Austrians for two years, time to release War Of Ages. In 2015, she left the band, leaving Georg Neuhauser alone on the microphone. The guitarist Thomas Buchberger left the adventure at the same time and was replaced by Cris Tían.
