Sex Church

Sex Church was born in 2008 around a common idea from the minds of Levon Olsen (Guitare) and Caleb Bouey (guitar), both former Ladies Night. Almost mostly made up of individuals more accustomed to unbridled live performances than to the comfort of the studio, the Vancouver group found itself quickly within the Roaster of the tiny Sweet Rot Records (A.H. Kraken , The Anals ...) for a noisy and spontaneous first 7" that reveals the path chosen by the quartet. Sex Church will play a crazy and noisy Rock garage with Coldwave, Surf and Krautrock influences.More noticed, their first LP 6 Songs will reinforce this choice and draw attention to the band that comes back the following year, this time at Load Records ( Lightning Bolt, Arab on Radar ...), with a second album: Growing Over.
