Biography

The Sex Pistols are an English punk band formed in 1975 in London, known as the initiators of the Punk movement in the United Kingdom. In his training, the quartet consists of Johnny Rotten (Lydon of his real name) singing, Steve Jones on guitar, Paul Cook on drums and Glen Matlock on bass. The latter was replaced by Sid Vicious in 1977. Despite a short three-year career, a single studio album recorded, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols and four singles, the Sex Pistols are described by The British Broadcasting Corporation ( BBC) as "the irremediable English punk rock band" ( "the definitive English Punk Rock band"). The band emerged as the Rock Progressive and Pop were the most dominant musical genres in the mid-1970s. His many controversies, which both fascinated and shocked England, often concealed their music. Their 1977 single God Save the Queen was seen as an attack on British monarchy and nationalism. Their concerts have often, on a recurring basis, attracted problems between the authorities and the organizers, the public becoming violent. In January 1978, after a turbulent tour in the United States, Johnny Rotten left the band, announcing its dissolution. For the next few months, the remaining three members recorded several songs for Julien Temple's film, The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle. A "fable" according to Temple in which Malcolm McLaren laughs at the media who accused him so much of having been there only for money (which is certainly true). Sid Vicious died a few months later of an overdose in New York. After spending some time in prison (he was accused of being the murderer of his girlfriend Nancy, a case that will forever remain a riddle), he goes out on bail, and celebrates his release with his new girlfriend, his mother and a few guests. On the morning of February 2, 1979, his mother found him dead in his bed. While he was following more or less a detoxification cure, Sid Vicious that evening injected several times enough pure heroin, the last was fatal. This is the last act of a group that, with hindsight, is perceived as preconceived, as a deliberate montage to shock and make money. However, in 1996, Lydon, Cook, Matlock and Jones reunited and toured from June to December 1996. The training also undertook further tours in 2002, 2003, 2007 and 2008. And this is not a great success, but the only and only album (of which there are nearly 230 versions of any medium) of the Pistols will forever remain as a "reference" in the Punk Rock.
