Biography
Sharon Van Etten is an American musician who plays in an indie pop/rock register and began her career in 2008 with a self-produced and unsigned debut album. It's really the following year with Because I Was in Love that serious things start, during a tour where she performs the first part of Meg Baird, she meets Greg Weeks, with whom she produces this first real opus, recorded at the Hexham Head studio in Philadelphia, the songs are arranged in a minimal and direct way. In the fall of 2010 Sharon released his second mischief, as intimate as his predecessor, but with the more worked production, Epic was born at Ba Da Bing Records (Beirut , Six Organs of Admittance ...), the final title Love More is often performed by Bon Iver and The National . Two years passed, and Clinton's native (NJ) released a third album by Jagjaguwar (Dinosaur Jr. , Angel Olsen , Ladyhawk ... ) , Tramp indicates his past work, studio sessions are more extensive, the instruments used are more numerous and the rendering is more complex, all under the guidance of Aaron Dessner thinking head of The National . In 2014 Sharon Van Etten returns to the front of the stage with Are We There , if his first three opus felt good about depression, and the disillusionment in love, here the convalescence is not far away, this one appears in the end-of-year tops of many webzines.
