Sherkan

Sherkan was born in Val d'Oise (near Paris) in 1998. A promising demo came out in 99 and the band was spotted by rodrunner. After a change of drummer in 2000 the final formation (Rempo au chant, Antek à la guitare, Chaos à la drums et G.R.E à la basse) finished the recording of their album INNER which was released in 2001. The album has a nice success and imposes the band as a rising value of the young French scene. However, during 2002-2003, the group experienced some difficulties and ended up in stand-by. Nevertheless, several of his Sherkan members will be present on various musical projects ( Le Noyau Dur , Strike Back ), which hope for a return of the band, never officially separated. And in fact this one returns in 2007 with (finally) a new album that appears early 2008: Wings .
