Biography

Naou Hara : singing, bass George Kurosawa : guitar, singing Moriyasu Maeda : drums
Short Circuit takes shape in April '97 around the trio Naou Hara, George Kurosawa and Moriyasu Maed, a triplette that will not be dissolved until 2006. Among their first concerts, they included early parts of Bracket and Scared of Chaka. In '98 they opened for the punk rockers of Sobut and Reach , leaving their first EP Break Your Wall on May 15 (on Spice of Life). A series of concerts (including with Samiam or Husking Bee) will crown a successful year; The next one won't be so bad either since in addition to a spot on Captain Hedge Hog's sold out tour with which they will share a split, they manage to slip on posters of Face To Face in September.
In 2000 they founded their own Euphony Records label on which they published their first album Songs Like A Self-portrait, which will sell more than 50,000 copies. They then signed a partnership with 3p3b to help them distribute their following productions, including the EP Letter (August 2001) in Japan. They opened for All and a few months later for The Gamits before breaking into a new Strange World album, Wandering Mind fin '02. A tour with Asparagus will be the highlight of 2003, before starting 2004 by publishing a split with Nudge 'Em All ( Sunshine To Your Love ). Then they slowed down their activities, still finding time to shoot with the Beat Crusaders on the Boyz of Summer Tour 2005, before hibernating again in 2006, a hibernation that would be fatal to them since the trio edited the DVD My Favourite Time Final before making its farewell to the stage.
