In 1998, it was only a year ago that the earthquake of L-Ecole Du Micro d'Argent shaken the small world of francophone music. IAM reigns in control of French rap, definitely joining NTM among untouchable precursors while the scene is still, at that time, booming. A year later, the first and, at this hour, the only escape of Shuriks (one of the MCs of IAM therefore) solo leaves in the ferries. Shurikon alias Geoffroy Mussard of his real name, present since the very beginning of the adventures of the collective Marseille, will release one of these albums symbol of an entire era. Since then, nothing gold from his original collective except a concept album entitled La Garde with his brother Faf La Rage and some features. The Malagasy-born Sieur, taking his time, however, formalized the preparation of a second album, Le Retour du Samurai , a time scheduled for 2009 but still expected.
