Biography
Sickbag formed in mid-2003 in Caen around Julien Henri (Chant), François Roux-Vecchiali (Batterie), Joackim Piquot (Basse), Diego Janson and Julien Divert (Guitares) and decided from the beginning to play a mix of Grind, Death and Hardcore morning of several other influences. Inspired by Napalm Death , Botch or Dying Foetus , the band will quickly record a demo (Vomiting Reflex ) and do a lot of concerts with Pitbulls In The Nursery , Imply In All or Blockheads for example as well as the gigantic Obscene Extreme Festival in Czech Republic. Meanwhile two eps (A Perfect World (Of Shit) , Who's The Next? ) and then a split with Desecrator , Disaster and Elysium are born. In 2006, Sickbag signed a contract with Polish label Deformathing Productions, allowing them to release their first album: Bushido Code noted by the press. In 2010, the Parisian combo came back under a new line-up composed of Julien Henri (Chant), Duff Rodriguez (Basse), Junior Rodriguez (Batterie), Diego Janson and Adrien Lederer (Guitares) who adopted a new artistic direction directed at chaotic Hardcore. Shades Among Shades is their latest offering to be published at Destructure Records.
